So where the heck are we? We are about 2 1/2 hours from New York City. We are right in the middle of some of the best ski mountains Belleayre , Hunter Mountain , Ski Plattekill all of which are 12 month resorts with music festivals, events and biking in the spring and summer. The Catskills are also antique shopping heaven with hundred of shops and country auction houses.
